When is the last time you worked “on your business”? In this blog I share my thoughts on “The Mini Retreat Strategy”.

mini retreat strategy

As entrepreneurs business planning is essential for growth.

But so many of us don’t do it.

Why?

Because it can be so easy to get stuck in the day to day workings of the business.

And it’s difficult to work “in” the business everyday and still remain focused on growth.

Here is a tip that we use to remain focused “on the business”…

The corporate team “Mini Retreat” strategy.

This was our office for the last couple days:

2-3 times per year we go on a “corporate” (me and my business partners) retreat for business planning.

They can be anywhere from short 24-48 hour trips, or we’ve done trips to Hawaii for as long as 10 days.

We always get an Airbnb short term rental with a nice outdoor space, preferably with a view like this.

Some of the best ideas we’ve had have come from doing these “mini-retreats” because it gives us a chance to focus on what’s important in a distraction free (and inspiring) environment.

Imagine some of the things you could get done…

– Goal setting

– Getting clear on objectives that will move the needle

– Work on a big project

– Knock out a new marketing campaign

– The possibilities are endless

When you take a few days to get clear on your goals and the things that make the biggest impact is when your business will flourish.

I highly recommend you try this and see what the results are.
